  1. I love the 'including mini quiches'...
    WHAT?!
Hope it goes well and you are honoured. Or honored.
    Whatever.

  2. THANKS!
When asked for my input on food items to serve, I asked for two things "dino buddies" that I had seen at the store and I thought were hilarious (although I couldn't figure out what 'food' they were), and mini quiches (yum!).
    :)
Nobody understands my Canadian spelling here... *sigh*

Aw man! I'm so disappointed that someone already commented on the mini quiches. I totally found that hilarious. I hope they are good mini quiches to live up to all this hype. Good luck!!

  5. when I proof-read the flyer I thought the quiche comment was a little odd, but way too funny to not include - I'm glad I was right!!!

Not so much 'Canadian' spelling as it is 'correct' spelling... Damn Webster and his mispellings.

  7. There's rumours of someone taping the lecture. I have responded to the rumours by saying they only have permission if they provide me with DVDs.

Congrats Nat! Looks like an interesting talk. Wish I could be there. Are you going to show your pyrite triceratops? :-)

  9. I'm totally debating the pyrite triceratops! I can't believe you remember!!!
Maybe I'll conclude with it... I've put it in and taken it out about a hundred times while making the talk...

You could put it in as an opening or closing joke. Best of luck with the talk. I had to give a talk at an Australian conference this year and I got so nervous about it. I think I've gotten out of practice. Too many industry reports I think.

  12. I played trivial pursuit this past weekend. For a pie: How many horns does a triceratops have.

    I know... we rule.
